You will meet with one of our experts to discuss your skin and what you would like to achieve from Venus Freeze. They can develop a personal plan and if you are ready, can start right away.
WILL VENUS FREEZE WORK FOR ME?
The ideal candidate is anyone who is starting to lose some of the elasticity in their skin and is starting to show early signs of fine lines, wrinkles, and ageing.
For safety reasons, you may not be able to get this treatment if you have/are:
- Active inflammation or infection in the treatment area
- Current or history of cancer
- A degenerative neurologic disease or any other disease around the treatment area that’s triggered by heat (e.g. herpes)
- An Internal defibrillator/pacemaker
- Metal implants (excluding dental) in the treatment area
- Uncontrolled thyroid gland disorder
- Varicose veins
- Pregnant or are undergoing an IVF procedure
- Skin-related autoimmune diseases
- Silicone implants and/or injections in the area

I HAVE DARKER SKIN, WILL VENUS FREEZE WORK FOR ME?
Yes. Venus Freeze uses radio frequency technology, which is proven to be safe for all skin tones, including darker complexions.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
The exact number of sessions needed depends on each individual patient and the area that they’re getting done. Many patients see their best results from 6-8 sessions. A lot of our patients often have a top-up before an important event.
DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
All you have to do is make sure your skin is clean before your treatment: no lotions, creams, or makeup.
WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL LIKE?
You will feel the applicator slowly get warmer until your skin reaches the required temperature and stays in within the therapeutic temperature range.
IS IT PAINFUL?
Treatments are extremely comfortable. Some have compared to the feeling of a relaxing hot stone massage. Some patients even fall asleep during their treatment.
HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST?
The treatments are cumulative, which means you’ll need more than one to see long lasting results. After the final session in your treatment plan, your results will continue to develop for up to 3-4 months. However, your face and body will continue to age, so maintenance treatments are recommended once a month or every 3-4 months, depending on each individual person.
IS THERE REALLY NO DOWNTIME?
There is absolutely no downtime required. The area may look a little red and feel warm, but this should go away within one or two hours.
CAN I WEAR MAKE-UP IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY TREATMENT?
Yes, if you had a treatment done on your face, you’re welcome to apply makeup right after your session.
